I would recommend going to Employee’s Only for happy hour as long as you get there at 6:30pm and no later… (so that you get a seat at the bar). Good ambiance, excellent service and delicious cocktails.

Blizzard Cocktail
4½ tablespoons bourbon
1½ tablespoons cranberry juice
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons simple syrup
Shake all the ingredients extremely well with plenty of large ice cubes, and pour the mixture unstrained into a chilled glass.
Garnish with a slice of lemon or a couple of cranberries.

6 oz hot water (not boiling)
1 lemon wedge (squeezed into water)
1 ½ oz whiskey or bourbon
1 cinnamon stick
½ tsp honey (if desired)
